Media & PR Manager for University of Bath School of Management
This is a great opportunity to work with a top business school, in a world class University, in a world heritage city.
From shining a light on modern slavery to helping the NHS save money through procurement, School of Management research improves people’s lives, enhances our community and strengthens our economy.
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated media and PR professional to help us ensure comment and research from the School reaches its target audience through strategic media coverage.
With research centres on key themes including the Future of Work, Sustainability and Responsibility and Entrepreneurship and Innovation, our academics generate world-leading research that helps solve some of the biggest challenges we face.
We are looking for someone who combines energy and enthusiasm with strategic thinking. You will have a proven track record in media relations and an eye for a story. Experience in the area of finance or business journalism or research would be an advantage.
The successful candidate will have a flair for building effective working relationships and a laser-like focus on impact and evaluation.
You will be joining an award-winning communications team, working closely with another part-time Media & PR Manager who supports the School of Management. If you are naturally collaborative and looking for your next challenge, we would love to hear from you.
This role is fixed term for 9 months and part time at 14.6 hours per week.
