This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and motivated information professional to join the Information Compliance team at an important time in the development of data protection law.
Working with the Data Protection Officer, you will embed and monitor data protection principles across the University, and take the lead with requests made under the Freedom of Information Act, Environmental Information Regulations and the UK data protection legislation. You will provide support for internal reviews and investigations by regulatory bodies.
A related degree (or equivalent qualification or experience) is essential, together with a good knowledge of legislation relating to information management (e.g. GDPR and FOIA) and experience of managing organisational compliance matters.
