This full time post is available from immediately on a fixed term basis to 31st January 2020.
This full time fixed term role is available immediately within the Reporting and Accounting team in Finance Services and is key in supporting to embed the changes from a new Finance System alongside providing financial support and advice to drive forward the changes that will support the University’s vision to become a Global 100 University.
This position offers an opportunity to be a part of the University consolidated Management and Financial Accounting team and would support someone studying for their AAT and wishing to progress and develop their accounting skills.
You will take a pro-active and hands on approach in the day to day activities of the team, working with stakeholders across the university to make sure they have the best data and tools to make effective decisions. The role needs someone who works well with others and has an enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
The Reporting & Accounting team are responsible for the consolidated Financial Statements, Management Accounting reports, financial scenario modelling, costing, budgets and forecasts. Ensuring that they are robust, highlighting risks and opportunities, promoting best practise and determining business rules in these areas.
